Welcome to Kensington Oval for the third day of the day/night match between Barbados and Windward Islands. Edwards 5-0-34-0, Hinds 25-10-26-1, Brooks 12-1-35-1, Stoute 4-1-6-1.

63ov [. . . . . 1] 229/4: Sebastien 113*, James 27*. Collins is directing the ball into Sebastien's pads. The left-hander doesn't seam able to pick him. Best's last spell was 5-0-42-0, but figures sometimes don't tell the real story.
62ov [. . . . . .] 228/4: Sebastien 112*, James 27*. Hinds has come on to replace the luckless Best and starts a new spell with a maiden.
61ov [nb . 1 nb 2 1 4] 228/4: Sebastien 112*, James 27*. Sebastien is again lucky not to get run out. He was trying to regain his ground at the keeper's end, but Patrick Browne couldn't gather Best's difficult return.
60ov [6 . 4 4 nb4 . 3] 218/4: Sebastien 107*, James 24*. An eventful over. Sebastien reaches his hundred in style. He pulls Best over square-leg for six and two balls later he slashes him square of the wicket to reach three figures. The celebration is emphatic. Sebastien throws the helmet in the air. He is emotional. The next ball is driven through mid-on for four. A bouncer ballons over the keeper's head and goes into the boundary.
59ov [. . 4 1 . .] 196/4: Sebastien 91*, James 24*. Sebastien finds the boundary again with another confident boundary through mid-off against Collins.

TEA: Windwards have the advantage at the break. They scored at almost a run a minute in that session, adding 117 runs in losing two wickets. 54ov [. . 1 . 1 .] 175/4: Sebastien 79*, James 16*. In his haste to turn for a second run, James doesn't ground his bat and the umpire calls "one short". He then gloves a lifter from Best but the ball doesn't carry to first slip. Best finds the edge of Sebastien's bat and wicket keeper Patrick Browne puts down the easiest of catches. Sebastian is let off on 79 and Best is not a happy man.
53ov [. . . . . .] 173/4: Sebastien 79*, James 14*. A maiden from Hinds.

36ov [1 . 1 . 1 W] 137/3: Sebastien 66*, Hector 0*. Brooks gets the breakthrough for Barbados.

33ov [1 . 2 . . .] 132/2: Fletcher 61*, Sebastien 63*. Barbados must be getting worried. The only thing troubling Windwards is some indecision in the running between the wickets.

28ov [. . . . . 2] 118/2: Fletcher 53*, Sebastien 58*.Hinds has surprisingly pulled himself out of the attack after only three overs. Leg-spinner Shamarh Brooks is on at the Malcolm Marshall End. A steady first over.

25ov [1 . . . . 3] 112/2: Fletcher 52*, Sebastien 55*. A double landmark. Sebastien completes his fifty (96 minutes, 83 balls, 6x4) and the two batsmen have completed a century partnership.

Sebastien survives a confident appeal for lbw, much to the disappointment of Best. The next ball is unconvincingly pulled over the head of the forward short-leg fielder. The penultimate ball of the over is nicely pulled behind square by Sebastien for the fifth boundary of the innings.
3ov [. . 4 . . 4] 20/2: Fletcher 14*, Sebastien 0*. The first authentic boundary of the innings is struck by Fletcher. It was a pull through forward square off Collins, who had a shout for lbw turned down off the next ball. Fletcher sweetly drives the last ball through mid-off for another boundary.

Hello and welcome to Kensington Oval for the second day of the day/night match between Barbados and Windward Islands. It is another nice, sunny day just outside the city. We have a small crowd in, which is something of a disappointment for a Saturday. It should get bigger during the afternoon. We are set for a resumption with Barbados starting the day on 255 for seven. An even first day - with Barbados doing well for most of the day before the Windwards fought back towards the end. Email us your comments to livewindies2@gmail.com
