25ov [. W . . . .] 44/3: Parchment 27*, Lambert 0*. Edwards adds to his first innings six-wicket haul and Barbados are well on top.

15ov [4 1 . . . .] 30/2: Parchment 15*, Bonner 6*. A clout over mid-off by Parchment off Collins, who is likely to be spelled now after 8-3-14-2.

12ov [. . nb 4 . . .] 25/2: Parchment 10*, Bonner 6*. A fine cover drive by Bonner off Best is followed by a fiery bouncer which strikes him on the helmet. The batsman is shaken. We'll have to wait and see if he's stirred! It's drinks now.

10ov [. 1 . . . .] 20/2: Parchment 10*, Bonner 2*. Best keeps the pressure on Jamaica.

7ov [. W . . 1 .] 18/2: Parchment 9*, Bonner 1*. Collins is in good rhythm and is disappointed not to have a third wicket when Bonner is late on an inswinger but umpire Rawle Richards rules in the batsman's favour.

WICKET: D Pagon c Benn b Collins 3. 17/2.

4ov [. . . . . .] 10/1: Parchment 7*, Pagon 0*. Best is accurate with a fullish maiden to Parchment.
Benn has made his way back onto the field.
3ov [1 W . . . .] 10/1: Parchment 7*, Pagon 0*. As is typical, Collins scalps an early wicket and Jamaica are under pressure after conceding a lead of 67.
Hyatt drives at the Collins outswinger and edges to the wicket-keeper, who snares a comfortable catch. Bright beginning for Barbados. New batsman: Donovan Pagon.
WICKET: D Hyatt c wk Dowrich b Collins 2. 10/1.
2ov [. 1 2 . . .] 9/0: Parchment 6*, Hyatt 2*. Decent start from Best but the pitch looks placid and still excellent for batting. Yet no team could total 300 plus!
Shamarh Brooks is a substitute on the field for Sulieman Benn. Let's hope that there is no problem with benn's knees. The lanky left-armer had operations on both knees about a month ago and is only in his second match back.
Tino Best will share the new cherry from the Pavilion End.
1ov [1lb . . 4 1 .] 6/0: Hyatt 0*, Parchment 5*. A nice flowing straight drive brings Parchment four off Collins.

TEA, DAY 2: Jamaica 226. Barbados 293. A decent first innings lead of 67 for the Bajans but Jamaica will be happy to have contained them after they resumed on 113/1 overnight.
Benn's fine knocks ends with an ugly cross-batted shot that he misses. Lambert pushed that one through and castled the tall left-hander. But a excellent innings. Barbados takes a first innings lead of 67 runs. The match is still very much up for grabs.

WICKET: P Collins c Hyatt b Lambert 1. 286/9. Collins prods a catch to short leg and Jamaica close in. New batsman: Corey Edwards.

78ov [2 . . 4 . 1RO] 284/8: Benn 48*, Collins 0*. Best cracks another four but then gifts his wicket away with poor judgement.

77ov [6 . 4 1 . .] 277/7: Benn 48*, Best 18*. An audacious straight hit again by Best off Dawes. This one sails even further over long-on, into the car park where a media tent is located. He then upper cuts over the slips for a four.

74ov [. 2 1 . . .] 255/7: Benn 44*, Best 0*. Benn continues to look good as the Jamaican captain cannot halt the lanky left-hander's surge.
BOWLING CHANGE: Tamar Lambert replaces the disappointing Odean Brown (17-0-75-0).
73ov [. nb 1lb 1 1 . W] 252/7: Benn 41*, Best 0*. Dawes gets a breakthrough and he has deserved it. It has been a good, probing spell from the young man.
Dowrich tries to cut but slices an edge to second slip where Parchment goes away to his left and pouches a fine, two-handed catch low down. New batsman: Tino Best.
WICKET: S Dowrich c Parchment b Dawes 9. 252/7.
72ov [. 4 1 . . .] 248/6: Dowrich 8*, Benn 40*. Benn clouts Odean Brown one bounce for four as he pulls a long hop over wide long-on.
71ov [1 . . . . .] 243/6: Dowrich 8*, Benn 35*. Dawes starts well but no alarms for this pair.
BOWLING CHANGE: Jason Dawes gets an opportunity, replacing David Bernard (14-3-39-1) after a lengthy spell.

70ov [. 1 . . . .] 242/6: Dowrich 8*, Benn 8*. Brown gets some better control but Barbados lead by 16 as drinks are taken.
69ov [. . 1 . . .] 241/6: Dowrich 8*, Benn 33*. Bernard still probing away but these two are solid.
68ov [6 1 . . . 4] 240/6: Dowrich 8*, Benn 32*. Expensive start from Brown, who is swung over midwicket for a half dozen by Benn and then lashed off the back foot through midwicket by Dowrich for four. The partnership grows to 40 off 41 balls.
BOWLING CHANGE: Odean Brown replaces Andrew Richardson at the Pavilion End.
67ov [. . . . . .] 229/6: Dowrich 4*, Benn 25*. Tidy maiden from Bernard to Dowrich.
66ov [1 . 1 2 . 4] 229/6: Dowrich 4*, Benn 25*. Barbados grab first innings lead as Benn continues to flourish, lifting Richardson over midwicket for another boundary.
65ov [. 1 1 . nb . 1] 221/6: Dowrich 3*, Benn 18*. Bernard and the Jamaicans are furious that umpire Joel Wilson turned down a loud appeal for a caught behind. The lanky left-hander drove and Baugh took the catch.
64ov [. 4 4 1 1 1] 217/6: Dowrich 2*, Benn 16*. Benn cracks two meaty boundaries off Richardson. He swivels and powers a pull hard to backward square and then lashes a square cut to backward point. 11 more for first innings lead for the Bajans.
63ov [. . 4 . . 1] 206/6: Dowrich 1*, Benn 6*. Benn clips a leg side half volley from Bernard for a boundary.
Injured West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo has made his way to the ground. No doubt he was watching Trinidad & Tobago at the Queen's Park Oval earlier.
62ov [. W . 1 . .] 201/6: Dowrich 1*, Benn 1*. Richardson claims his second scalp (10-3-16-2) as Barbados slump.
Jamaica now sense that the battle for first innings lead is still very much on.
Edwards checks a drive but pushes a return catch to the fast bowler, who clings on to a sharp catch waist-high catch, two-handed to his left. New batsman: Sulieman Benn.
WICKET: K Edwards c and b Richardson 33. 200/6.
61ov [. . . nb . nb 1 . .] 200/5: K Edwards 33*, Dowrich 1*. Bernard bowling beautifully and should have had Edwards caught behind but he only has himself to blame as it was a no-ball. Edwards groped at an outswinger and edged to Baugh. Barbados cross 200.
60ov [. . . . . .] 197/5: K Edwards 32*, Dowrich 1*. Dowrich shows a broad bat in that Richardson maiden.
Richardson takes it up from the Pavilion End, to the new batsman Dowrich.
59ov [W . . 1 . .] 197/5: K Edwards 32*, Dowrich 1*. Dowrich gets off the mark with an inside edge into the leg side off Bernard.
DAY 2, POST-LUNCH SESSION: David Bernard, who claimed Kevin Stoute just before lunch, resumes to the teenaged wicket-keeper Shane Dowrich.
BOWLING: Richardson 8-2-15-1, Bernard 8.1-3-25-1 (nb2), Dawes 3-0-21-0 (nb2), O Brown 14-0-58-0 (nb1), Lambert 15-4-45-1, Bonner 10-2-24-2.
LUNCH, DAY 2: Jamaica 226. Barbados 196/5. The Jamaicans have hit hit back in the morning session, reducing Barbados from 113/1 overnight to 196/5. Barbados are still 31 away from taking a first innings lead.
Bernard produces a fine delivery to castle Stoute. An inswinger of full length undoes Stoute, whose leg stump is rattled as Jamaica strike crucially on the stroke of lunch.
WICKET: K Stoute b Bernard 6. 196/5.
58ov [. . 1 . . .] 196/4: K Edwards 32*, Stoute 6*. Richardson impressive but can't break through.
57ov [. . . . . .] 195/4: K Edwards 32*, Stoute 5*. Steady Bernard maiden to Edwards.
56ov [. 1 . . . .] 195/4: K Edwards 32*, Stoute 5*. Richardson continues to bowl well but the two right-handers are striving to build a big lead for Barbados.
55ov [. . . . . .] 194/4: K Edwards 31*, Stoute 5*. Bernard maiden to Stoute. 54ov [. . . . . .] 194/4: K Edwards 31*, Stoute 5*. Richardson maiden to Edwards.
53ov [. . 4 . . .] 194/4: K Edwards 31*, Stoute 5*. Stoute gathers a boundary through fine backward point with an edgy drive off the front foot off Bernard.
52ov [. 1 . W . 1] 190/4: K Edwards 31*, Stoute 1*. Richardson makes the breakthrough in his first over back. But Hinds should be unhappy with that loose stroke.
WICKET: R Hinds c Dawes b Richardson 34. 189/4. Hinds tries to on-drive but drags a catch to midwicket. Soft way to end an innings of promise and Jamaica are back in this contest after breaking a stand of 63. New batsman: Kevin Stoute.
BOWLING CHANGE: Andrew Richardson replaces Odean Brown (14-0-58-0) from the Pavilion End.
51ov [. . nb . . 2 .] 188/3: Hinds 34*, K Edwards 30*. A near mix-up between Hinds and Edwards but they get through.
50ov [1 . . 2 . .] 185/3: Hinds 32*, K Edwards 30*. Brown cannot penetrate.
49ov [. . . 4 . .] 182/3: Hinds 31*, K Edwards 28*. Bernard induces an edge from Edwards but it is a meaty one and races wide of the slips along the ground and to the vacant third man rope.
BOWLING CHANGE: David Bernard replaces Nkrumah Bonner (10-2-24-2) from the UWI SPEC Gymnasium End at the north.
48ov [1 4 . 4 . 3] 178/3: Hinds 31*, K Edwards 24*. Edwards into a good groove, twice hitting Brown down the ground for fours. The first is a straight on-drive all along the carpet, the second is lifted confidently over mid-off and two bounces over the rope. The fifty stand comes up off the last ball, off 112 balls.
47ov [1 . . . . .] 166/3: Hinds 30*, K Edwards 13*. Bonner in rhythm but Barbados appear comfortable and are just 61 runs away from first innings lead.
Drinks break: Jamaica 226. Barbados 165/3. Jamaica struck early as leg-spinner Bonner (2/23) claimed both overnight batsmen. Jason Haynes (23) was LBW on the back foot while Dale Richards (67) appeared unlucky to be given out caught down the leg side. These two both survived early chances and have grown to add 39. Hinds was dropped by Odean Brown at long-off off Lambert while Edwards was misstumped by Baugh off Lambert.
46ov [. 1 . . . .] 165/3: Hinds 29*, K Edwards 13*. Brown nice and accurate to complete the first hour of the day.
45ov [1 . . . . .] 164/3: Hinds 28*, K Edwards 13*. Bonner not as consistent now.
44ov [. . 1 . . .] 163/3: Hinds 27*, K Edwards 13*. Good over from Brown to start but this partnership grows to 37.

43ov [4 . 1 . 1 .] 162/3: Hinds 26*, K Edwards 13*. Edwards on-drives Bonner for four, but Richardson is guilty of a bad misfield.
42ov [. . . 4 2 .] 156/3: Hinds 25*, K Edwards 8*. Hinds slaps a slog/sweep all along the ground to midwicket for four off Lambert.
41ov [1 1 1 . . .] 150/3: Hinds 19*, K Edwards 8*. Barbados, after a shaky start, pass 150 with three straight singles off Bonner.
40ov [. . . . 2 2] 147/3: Hinds 17*, K Edwards 7*. Edwards works Lambert twice through the leg side and sprints hard and collects a double each time.
39ov [. . . . . 4] 143/3: Hinds 17*, K Edwards 3*. An official warning for running on the pitch for Bonner, who then drops short and Hinds rocks back and carts a square cut through cover point for four.
38ov [4b 1 . 4 . 1] 139/3: Hinds 13*, K Edwards 3*. MISTUMPED: Edwards tries to on-drive a big-spinning off-break from Lambert and misses but Baugh cannot complete the stumping as the ball turns and bounces. Hinds strokes a magnificent straight off drive to push Barbados onwards.
37ov [1 1b . . 1 .] 129/3: Hinds 8*, K Edwards 2*. Barbados aim to rebuild against Bonner.
36ov [. . . . . .] 126/3: Hinds 8*, K Edwards 0*. A fourth straight maiden as Lambert maintains the pressure against a circumspect Hinds.
35ov [. . . . . .] 126/3: Hinds 8*, K Edwards 0*. Barbados have lost both overnight batsmen this morning to the leg-spin of Bonner, who continues to bowl tightly.
34ov [. . . . . .] 126/3: Hinds 8*, K Edwards 0*. After his reprieve in the last over, Hinds chose defense first against Lambert in that maiden.
33ov [W . . . . .] 126/3: Hinds 8*, K Edwards 0*. Bonner really giving the Jamaicans the early momentum. He has 2/7 off three overs.
Another strike from Bonner as Richards tries to turn into the leg side but deflects to the wicket-keeper. The batsman is disappointed and indicates the deflection came from the pad but umpire Joel Wilson is convinced there was an edge. New batsman: Kirk Edwards.
WICKET: D Richards c wk Baugh b Bonner 67. 126/3.
32ov [1 . . . 4 .] Richards 67*, Hinds 8*. DROPPED: Hinds, very busy to start, lofts injudiciously to long-off and Odean Brown meanders around and fails to lay a finger on an easy chance. It goes for four.
31ov [. . 1 W . 4] 121/2: Richards 66*, Hinds 4*. Bonner, who got a first ball duck yesterday, makes a mark with his leg-spin, claiming a crucial early breakthrough. Hinds arrives with a glorious cover drive for a boundary.
Haynes goes onto the back foot trying to nudge into the leg side and is hit in front. Umpire Joel Wilson is in no doubt. Fair enough decision. New batsman: Ryan Hinds.
WICKET: J Haynes lbw b Bonner 24. 117/2.
30ov [1 . . . . .] 116/1: Richards 65*, Haynes 24*. Richards drives to long-off fluently as Lambert hits his spots.
Tamar Lambert, with his accurate off-spin, will operate from the south, or Pavilion End.
29ov [1 1 . . . .] 115/1: Richards 64*, Haynes 24*. Both batsmen get going with comfortable singles.
Nkrumah Bonner, with his part-time leg-spin, will begin from the SPEC Gymnasium End at the north. This will probably be a one-over spell in order to change ends for Tamar Lambert and Odean Brown.
Umpires Joel Wilson and Rawle Richards are both immaculately attired in white long-sleeves shirts, black slacks and pristine white panama hats as they head out onto the Frank Worrell Oval to prepare to shout "play".
DAY 2: The huge motorized roller has completed its seven-minute trek up and down the pitch here at Frank Worrell Oval at the UWI SPEC. In ten minutes, Barbados will resume on 113/1 in pursuit of Jamaica's under-par 226 all out. Opener Dale Richards is unbeaten on 63 while left-handed No. 3 Jason Haynes is 23 not out.
Bowling figures: Richardson 4-1-11-0, Bernard 3-0-14-0 (nb1), Dawes 3-0-21-0 (nb2), O Brown 10-0-41-0 (nb1), Lambert 8-2-23-1.
A brilliant day for the Bajans, who really need to win here to have a shot at the title. Corey Edwards wrecked the Jamaica top order with a six-wicket haul. David Bernard's half century helped revive the competition leaders from a dismal 100/7. But Dale Richards' fifty has put Barbados well on top. The Bajans are half way towards Jamaica's modest total with only one wicket down.
CLOSE, DAY 1: Jamaica 226 (David Bernard 55, Tamar Lambert 41, Odean Brown 33, Donovan Pagon 29, Andrew Richardson 17, Danza Hyatt 15; Corey Edwards 6/41, Sulieman Benn 2/69, Ryan Hinds 1/9, Pedro Collins 1/35). Barbados 113/1 (Dale Richards 63 not out, Jason Haynes 23 not out, Kraigg Brathwaite 20; Tamar Lambert 1/23).
28ov [. . . . . .] 113/1: Richards 63*, Haynes 13*. Richards meets every Lambert delivery with a broad bat and Barbados close well on top.
27ov [. . 1 . . 1] 113/1: Richards 63*, Haynes 23*. Barbados inch towards close on top as Odean Brown finishes the day wicketless.
Two oversremain on a day in which Barbados have dominated.
26ov [1 . 2 . . .] 111/1: Richards 62*, Haynes 22*. Lambert a bit too much leg side in this over.
25ov [4 2 . 4 1 .] 108/1: Richards 60*, Haynes 21*. Haynes notches two leg side boundaries off Odean Brown, lofting over midwicket first before swinging a sweep to very fine leg.
24ov [. . . . . 4] 97/1: Richards 60*, Haynes 10*. A loud Lambert appeal against Richards is turned down and the batsman then dismisses the bowler with a magnificent extra cover drive.
23ov [. . . . 1 .] 93/1: Richards 56*, Haynes 10*. Odean Brown keeps Richards under a tight rein.
22ov [. 1 . 1 . .] 92/1: Richards 55*, Haynes 10*. A near run-out as Richards reacts late to Haynes' call for a single. A better return would have send Richards on his way again soon after reaching 50.
Sixth half century this 2010 season for Richards. He is yet to pass 60. So dangerous period now for the Bajan veteran.
