Rnd 6 (Feb 19 - Feb 22 in T&T)

Barbados v Jamaica

Fri Feb 19 - Mon Feb 22

10:00 Local/13:00 GMT

Sir Frank Worrell Cricket Ground, Trinidad

So we have a title race still on our hands as Barbados (57 points) and Jamaica (48 points) are the remaining contenders. Barbados have finished their six matches and Jamaica need to win their remaining match against Trinidad & Tobago to stop Barbados from claiming the 2010 crown. That contest begins next Friday at Progress Park in Grenada. We will provide live text commentary from that crucial showdown as well. Please join us then.
Final scores: Jamaica 226 (David Bernard 55, Tamar Lambert 41; Corey Edwards 6/41, Sulieman Benn 2/69) & 120 (Brenton Parchment 28; Pedro Collins 5/32, Sulieman Benn 4/50). Barbados 293 (Dale Richards 67, Sulieman Benn 54; Tamar Lambert 3/63) & 54/0 (Dale Richards 31 not out, Kraigg Brathwaite 20 not out).
VICTORY: Barbados win by 10 wickets!!!!
9ov [. 1 . . . 4] 54/0: Richards 31*, Brathwaite 20*. Brathwaite ends this one-sided contest with a classic cover drive for four off Dawes that advertises why he is rated so highly.
8ov [. . 1 . 4 .] 49/0: Richards 30*, Brathwaite 16*. Brathwaite late dabs to the vacant third man off Bernard.

Queen's Park Oval, Trinidad

Thank you very much for joining us over the past four days. We trust that you enjoyed the proceedings and the coverage. Join us on Friday from Grenada and St Lucia for the final round.
Man of the Match has been confirmed as Amit Jaggernauth for his match haul of 9 for 105.
BOWLING: Gabriel 12-1-52-1, Stewart 11-4-33-1, Jaggernauth 15-2-4-47-5, Khan 17-3-63-2, S Ganga 5-1-15-1.
Amit Jaggernauth has staked a strong claim for Man of the Match with that five wicket haul 15.2-4-47-5. He took 9 wickets in the match after his 4 for 58 in the first innings for a match haul of 9 for 105.
RESULT: Trinidad and Tobago win by 155 runs. They take 12 points and move to 33 points while the Windwards remain on 16. Windwards now drop down to the bottom of the table, below Guyana how were the previous cellar dwellers. Guyana beat Leewards and now move to 19 points. T&T now move into third position on the points table behind Barbados (57) and Jamaica (48). There will be a big final round clash between T&T and Jamaica in Grenada at Progress Park. Jamaica must beat T&T to take the title. If they fail to Barbados will win the tournament.

Guyana v Leeward Islands

Fri Feb 19 - Mon Feb 22

10:00 Local/13:00 GMT

National Cricket Centre, Couva, Trinidad

Leewards won the toss and elected to bat.

LI 192 all out

Well no suprise there, Chanderpaul receiving the Man of the Match Award for his 105* and 32* holding both innings together as clearly he was the difference in the match. Other notable performances, E. Crandon 8-73, D. Bishoo 7-105 and O. Banks 60 and 49 in the match. So from us here at the National Cricket Centre in Balmain, Couva thank you for joining us and be sure to tune in next weekend for what looks to be a Championship Deciding match Between Trinidad and Tobago and Jamaica. Good Bye.
Again, what could've been had the Leewards scored another 75 runs, would've made for a very interesting day. Stay tuned for the Presentation Ceremony to find out who receives the man of the match award, my money is on Chanderpaul, who played two crucial knocks in both innings and hasn't been dismissed, man he loves to bat!
RESULT: LI 192 Guy 287 LI 192 Guy 99/5 Guyana Wins by 5 Wickets.

45ov [. . . . . .] 95/5 Chanderpaul 28* Bishoo 0* Bishoo seems to be in no big a hurry like Christian was as he sees out that Athanaze over. Still 3 needed!
